Biker Boots: What Makes a Good Pair?

A good pair of biker boots protects your feet, supports your ankles and stays comfortable through long days.
Leather upper
Genuine full-grain or top-grain leather, minimally processed, gives natural texture, durability and good ageing.
Seams and construction
Look for strong stitching and reinforced seams around the heel counter, vamp and buckles. The join between sole and upper, whether welded, cemented or stitched welt, should leave no gaps.
Sole and insole
A thick, rugged sole with good tread grip is important, along with a supportive insole and cushioning around the heel and ball.
Lining
Quality leather or high-grade textile lining breathes well and resists early wear.
